Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate

Chapter 76

The witch started coughing and she rugged herself up even tighter in her blanket that was draped around her.

"How do you know all of this?" I asked.

"I was there. I witnessed the curse. And I have been the one to maintain the curse. My hatred has been trapped in this small altar for my whole life. I've been waiting for the arrival of the white wolf." She said.

"You were waiting for me to come and break the curse." I said. And she nodded her head.

"I knew that you'd come eventually. I didn't think it would be this long. But I knew that you would come." She said.

She gradually got up off of the stone wall and she laid down on the ground. I kneeled down beside her and reached out to hold her hand.

She looked like she was at peace now. She had delivered the message that she needed to deliver to the right person and her time was up.

"It's alright child. You do what you need to do. I've done what I had to do." She said.

"I promise that I will give you a proper burial." I said. And she smiled at me.

I could tell that she was moving from this world to the next. She was ready to die. Her mission was now complete.

"Wait." Tristan said, getting our attention and he kneeled down beside me. "There are other witches out there trying to kill the white wolf. If you're here to help us break it, then who are they?" Tristan asked.

"I am the last witch in Alaska. Those others are sent by other covens." She said. With her final breath, she lifted her hand up and pressed it to my chest where I felt

a tingling sensation and a bright light start to emulate from her hand as she blessed me.

But when she pulled her arm away from me, it fell beside her body and she passed away peacefully in my arms.

I sat there staring at her, kneeling beside her with her head on my lap.

So I did what I promised her I would do.

I carried her down the stairs and I laid her out in the snow, next to the ruins that she had spent her life at.

I managed to extend my claws and I dug through the snow and ice until I got to the solid ground beneath but my claws tore through it pretty easily.

The guys stood back watching me. They knew that this was something I had to do on my own.

I dug a big enough hole and I buried the old woman in there and I covered it back over with the dirt and the snow and ice on top of her.

I grabbed a couple of sticks and I made a cross and stuck that at the top of her grave and I placed rocks on top of it as well. To stop animals from digging her up.noveldrama

I knew that she would rest peacefully there and she would want to stay where she had spent her whole life waiting for me.

I looked back at the guys and they were still standing near the altar so I walked over to them and the altar and the walls surrounding it had all strange drawings and languages written on them. It was really strange to see.

I couldn't translate them, but I took out my phone and I took pictures of everything

that we were looking at. We needed to see what this all meant.

If it was all about me, or the curse or if it was about something completely different.

"It's nice to know where the curse finally came from." I said.

"Yeah. Ella, our ancestor mated with a witch. Their daughter became the Luna of the Blackwood pack." Nathan said.

"Can we please not do the math? I would really rather not know how closely related we are." I said. But Tristan chuckled.

"I've already been going over it in my head. It's been a century so i think we're pretty good. We're not related. At least, not closely related anyway." He said.

"Good." I said.

"But you are the white wolf. The one to break the curse." He said.

"But she never said how we can break the curse. I know that it's got something to do with this writing. It's got something to do with these pictures." I said.

"Maybe Sara will be able to decode it. She's got all the books in Seattle." Nathan said.

"I'll send them to her as soon as we've got a signal." I said.

“Come on. We need to go. This place is giving me the creeps." Tristan said.

I looked around one last time and I tried to imagine what it would have been like for that woman to spend century here waiting for the white wolf. She just waited here all that time until I arrived so she could die.

What a life to live. What a pathetic life to live. But that was her dedication to her coven and to the curse. She needed to make sure that she met me before she died.

No doubt witchcraft helped her stay alive until she met me. She could have been

waiting another hundred years and she never would have known it.

I can't believe that she would

dedicate her entire life and give up

everything for me. Just for one

conversation with me. To tell monet

about that wronged witch. Who actually in the wrong in the first place.

was

And that also got me thinking about their daughter that became the Luna of the Blackwood pack. What happened to her after her mother was revealed as a witch and killed. I can't imagine that she would have been too thrilled about it and she was half witch. I wonder what happened to her.

Something else to get Sara on to. We didn't have the books or research

equipment in Alaska to figure all of this out.

I turned around and the guys were waiting, so I walked over to them and Nathan

put his arm around me while Tristan held my hand as we walked away from the ruins.

"There's one thing that confuses me." Tristan said.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Who is commanding these witches to come after the white wolf? Who is the one that wants you dead?" Tristan asked. And we stopped walking and looked at

Tristan.

That thought hadn't even crossed my mind until now. There was obviously someone out there that wanted me dead. But who? Who the hell could be doing this?

"We need to get out of here as soon as possible and get on to Sara." Nathan said. "Yeah." I agreed.
