"A week before I turned sixteen and I shifted for the first time, luckily I was all by myself when it happened. Because to my surprise I shifted into a Lycan and she didn't have to tell me to keep it a secret from my Father.

It took me a while before I confided into my two best friends, one of them is a Warrior and he decided to train me. You can understand he couldn't train me as much as he wanted or as I needed, but because of his raining I did survive.

After I turned sixteen my Father's best friend and his second Son showed up for a visit and after that day I really had to watch what I was doing, because they would show up every now and then. It became pretty clear that Father had chosen a Mate for me, but I couldn't stand the prick and I was glad that my Father never really knew me.

It made ignoring him a lot easier as Father brushed it off as me being shy and one day my best friend came to me and told me that on the morning of my eighteenth birthday I would get forcefully marked if I didn't accept Father's choice willingly.

I started making plans to escape and with the help of my friends I was able to pull it off, but not only Father send men after me and I know it were the men of his best friend that beat me up every chance they got.

I am not sure if my chosen Mate is aware of what those men did to me, but I am glad I got away from them every single time. The last time they caught me I thought my life was over and when they ripped the clothes of my body I knew what they were planning to do, but something interrupted them.

A door opened not far from where we were and the men ran away the moment someone stepped outside, but they could have saved themselves the trouble because more than one step was all this person took.

However, I am glad that this spooked them enough and ten minutes later Maleah and Harvey found me, I owe my life to the person that opened the door. I am grateful that Maleah and Harvey found me and took me to safety, it gave me time to heal my wounds." I say as I feel tears streaming down my face and three pairs of arms wrap tighter around me.

For the first time in my life I feel safe and I want to see if this connection will bring me the happiness I have longed for.

"Okay, Boys. Let's give Delaney a change to eat something and maybe we can try to find out what happened to her Mother." Elyse says and I giggle as she calls them Boys, they are grown men for Goddess sake. Dominic turns me just a little on his lap and Dax is holding a plate of food in front of me, but before I can take it from him he is holding the fork in front of me.

"Open up, Sweetheart." I hear Dillon say behind me and instead of thinking of food my mind wonders in a different direction.

"Fuck, Dillon. Was it necessary to say it like that." I hear Dominic groan behind me and I know my face has a nice shade of red to it. The others around us chuckle as I want to hide my face in Dominic's chest.

"Than do so." My lycan says and she gives me the last nudge I needed. Now my Mates chuckle as well and I want to smack each them on their head and before I can change my mind I sit up straight to smack each of them.

This makes a male I haven't seen before laugh his ass off and Elyse has a smug look on her face,

"Looks like your Mate can handle the three of you just fine." She says as she smiles at me and I see that my Mates are pouting at me, making me giggle again.

"Okay, Sweetheart. You need to eat this, we know that there was no time this morning to eat." Dax says and I accept the fork he holds in front of me, he doesn't hand it to me but instead he keeps feeding me.

While Dax is feeding me Kay is asking me questions about my Mother and I tell him everything I know about her.

The rest of the day is spend with a tour of the Pack-house, a walk around the territory and the occasional death glare from females. Most of the time I am sandwiched between two of my Mates and they take turns in walking behind me, I smile when I see the same happening with Maleah.

Lunch and Dinner are spend on the Alpha floor and my jaw drops when I hear why they are eating up here instead of in the main dining room.

"Okay, we are turning in for the night. I have this funny feeling we won't get much rest after tomorrow morning." Maleah says as she gets out of her seat and her Mates follow her quickly.
